MHS senior receives Evans Scholarship for golf caddies

Mundelein High School senior Nicholas Selimos has earned the prestigious Chick Evans Scholarship, a full tuition and housing, four-year college scholarship for golf caddies. Selimos plans to attend the University of Illinois - Chicago in the fall and study mechanical engineering. The scholarship, given by the Evans Scholars Foundation, is awarded based on a strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated financial need and outstanding character. Read More

Mundelein Jazz Ensemble to perform at legendary Chicago club

The Mundelein High School Jazz Ensemble will perform at the legendary Jazz Showcase at 806 S Plymouth Ct in Chicago on Monday, March 3. Founded in 1947, the Jazz Showcase, 806 S. Plymouth Ct., is the oldest historic jazz club in Chicago. The Mundelein Jazz Ensemble will perform at 7:15 p.m. as an opening band for the Bob Lark Alumni Big Band. 58th Mundelein Jazz Invitational continues long tradition on March 8

The 58th Annual Mundelein Jazz Invitational will be held on Saturday, March 8 at Mundelein High School. This is the longest-running instrumental jazz festival in the Chicago area and will welcome 64 performing ensembles from 33 different high schools and middle schools.
