Mundelein High School’s Instrumental Music Department will host its annual Evening of Jazz Sunday, May 6 at 5 p.m. in the MHS cafeteria. The evening will include a silent auction, raffles and jazz music by the MHS jazz bands.
“The Evening of Jazz silent auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year and benefits the entire band program,” said Andrew Sturgeon who, along with Jerald Shelato, directs the instrumental music program.
The long list of donations for the auction/raffle includes: The MHS band families, Area General Store, Bill’s Pub, Bosacki’s Brewery, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chipotle, Cooper’s Hawk, Corner Health Store, Country Bumpkin, Crossroads, Culvers, Dover Straits, Elly’s Pancake House, Franks for the Memories, Great Lakes Music, Guitar Center, Home Depot, Jewel, Jimmy Johns, Lakeside Lanes, Las Palmas, Lauretta’s, Little Joey’s, Luigi’s, Luke’s, Mayas, Medieval Times, Oreganos, Portillos, Royal Cantonese, Schaumburg Boomers, Shear Paradise, and Sport Clips-Libertyville.
