Students in Advanced Placement [AP] American Government and Politics classes at Mundelein High School will host a public Mayoral Candidate Forum March 14 from 7 to 10 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium.
Candidates for Mayor in Mundelein include Village Board Member Holly Kim, current Mayor Steve Lentz and local business person Ray Ladewig.
The students will perform several duties throughout the Forum including organizing the event, serving as timers, choosing and planning the questions, and asking the questions. Those planning to attend may submit questions for possible use by emailing Tom Kuhn at d120.org.
The students are in the AP courses taught by Michele Bonadies, Stacey Darcy and Tom Kuhn.
A similar Forum involving the Village Board candidates will be held at MHS Monday, March 20, from 7 to 10 p.m.
