All MHS varsity teams earn IHSA all-academic recognition

Every one of the Mundelein High School spring varsity teams matched the MHS teams from the fall and winter seasons by receiving the prestigious IHSA Team All-Academic award. MHS Special Olympics basketball team preps for state tourney

Mundelein High School has had its share of wrestlers, swimmers and gymnasts competing at the state level. But, for the first time in school history, the MHS Special Olympics basketball team is going to state. The team, coached by Mundelein High School Transition Center teacher Eric Billittier and Krissy Pawlicki, is scheduled to play at 11:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. on Friday, March 10 at the Horton Field house on the Illinois State University campus.
