Following two weeks of school after starting on Aug. 9, MHS students will have a chance to “unwind” at a Back-to-School Bash on Friday, Aug. 19 from 7-9 p.m. The celebration of the new school year will take place behind the athletic field.

The event, sponsored by the Student Leadership organization, will be preceded by Red and Gray scrimmages on the athletic field from 5 to 7 p.m. Also on the docket are food, games, inflatables and music.  Admission for the evening is $2.

In addition, the Mundelein Police Department will run a dunk tank featuring some MHS personnel and others. All donations will go to support the Special Olympics.
