Mundelein High School’s Boys Lacrosse team will host a Military Tribute Game Saturday, April 13 at 3 p.m. on the home turf. Fifteen members of the military will be honored before the game and they have also partnered with MHS Club, Helping Heroes of America, to collect items to donate to military troops overseas.
Items requested by the military include shampoo, razors, conditioner, sunflower seeds, body wash, bug repellent, sun screen, travel size toiletries, playing cards, non-perishable food items, chap stick, microwave popcorn, gum, powdered drink mix, books, canned foods, puzzle books, foot powder, hand sanitizer, magazines, baby wipes, instant coffee, dice games, hand & foot warmers, pens, pillow cases, washcloths, beef jerky, yo-yos, towels, hacky sacks, batteries, shaving cream and more.
Lacrosse Coach Zach Michal encourages everyone “to bring items to the game and help support our military and our Mustangs.”
