The Mundelein Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), at their meeting Wednesday, September19, 2018, collected non-perishable food for the Mundelein High School food pantry. The CERT Team collected more than 100 food items for the pantry.  The CERT Team is a community based emergency preparedness team and responds to local emergencies as well as providing services to community events such as first aid tents, traffic control, parking assistance and educational materials.  The team will be assisting with traffic control at the Mundelein High School Homecoming Parade October 5.  The CERT Team challenges the Mustang family/community to support the food drive at the September 28th game so that the food pantry is well stocked for the winter months.
