Mundelein High School’s College and Career Center will host its annual College Planning Event for MHS seniors Wednesday, Sept. 5 in English and Thursday, Sept. 6 in Spanish, both set to begin at 7 p.m. The Sept. 5 presentation will be in the MHS Auditorium while the Sept. 6 meeting will be in the District Meeting Room.
During the evening, Andrea Rusk, MHS College Counselor, will provide information about the college planning resources available to students and their families at MHS. After her presentation, Lance Pellow, assistant director for admissions at Hope College will provide tips and tactics from the perspective of a person who reads college applications.
“Mr. Pellow plans to help our students put their best foot forward in the admissions process,” Rusk explained. “This valuable presentation will be applicable to all students, no matter which college or university they hope to attend.”
Though the planning night specifically targets senior students, families of students in all grade levels are welcome to attend.
