Mundelein High School bands will host a free concert Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium. The event will feature the four concert bands including the Honors Wind Ensemble, Honors Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band and Concert Band. Andy Sturgeon and Jerald Shelato direct the band program at MHS.

Selections will include Simple Gifts by Frank Ticheli, Ecstatic Fanfare by Steven Bryant, Sheltering Sky by John Mackey, Midway March by John Williams, Hounds of Spring by Alfred Reed, The Promise of Living by Aaron Copland, Overture on a Minstrel Tune by Pierre LaPlante, Symphony No. 4 by Andrew Boysen Jr. and On Fire! By Dana Wilson (as commissioned by Mundelein High School).
