The Mundelein High School Art Department will host the Mundelein All- Area Art Show in the main gym Tuesday, April 11 and Wednesday, April 12. A formal reception will take place April 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with music provided by the MHS Chamber Ensemble. The day hours are 11:30 a.m.-3:20 p.m. on April 11 and 7:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m. on April 12. Admission is free.
Each of the elementary and middle school districts that send students to MHS has been invited to participate in the show. Last year, five area schools participated. This year, 10 schools will participate along with MHS. Those participants include Carl Sandburg Middle School, Diamond Lake Elementary, Fairhaven Elementary, Fremont Middle, Fremont Intermediate, Fremont Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Mechanics Grove Elementary, Washington Elementary and West Oak Middle.
