We understand that the winter storm is creating some power outages and complicating some of our students’ efforts to participate in the e-learning program today. As a reminder, students have until Thursday, Jan. 18 to complete their assignments from today. Please stay safe until they’re able to do the work.
MHS parents and guardians:
With a strong winter storm approaching, MHS will hold an e-learning day on Friday, Jan. 12. Our school building and district offices will be closed.

What will e-learning look like for students?
E-learning school day is 8:40 a.m. -1:40 p.m.
All students will learn asynchronously. This means students will check CANVAS for teacher assignments. Students will complete new assignments, students may email teachers for clarification or assistance and / or catch up on missing assignments from last semester. Students will not participate in zoom classes. Students must submit their completed assignments to their teachers by the third school day following the emergency day.
All students must submit their attendance by 1:40 p.m. Students will receive an email on their school account from Mrs. Stevee Libert with a google form they must complete by 1 p.m. to indicate they are “present” for the day.
All teachers will be available by email during the e-learning day.
After-school athletics and extracurriculars will be notified by noon on the day of the closure if they will resume or be canceled for that evening.
Stay safe and warm,
Dr. Alexandria Rios Taylor, Principal
Mundelein High School
