2021 MHS School-Wide Locker Cleanout
Dear Parents and Caregivers:
I hope this letter finds you and your family well. I am writing because the rapid closure of schools in the 2019-2020 school year due to COVID-19 health concerns did not allow time for our students to collect personal items left at Mundelein High School. Therefore, we have created a schedule for students to clean out the hallway and P.E. lockers and return school-issued supplies such as textbooks in a safe and orderly fashion.
We plan to utilize two days – Monday, May 17 & Tuesday, May 18 -- to accomplish this task. Students will have access on either day based on their wellness, choir, or band class. Any family needing to make other arrangements should email info@mhs.org.
Building wellness faculty and the security team will be present in the building each day to help.
All students will attend class on these days as expected. However during wellness, choir or band class, students will participate in locker cleanout after attendance is taken in class. Students who are not currently in a wellness, choir or band class and need to clean out a locker should email info@d120.org.
Locker cleanout
Students will go to their lockers to retrieve their belongings, textbooks and library books. Students will remove ALL items from their assigned lockers and securely place the lock back on the locker. Tables will be set up in the main gym for book return. Students who may have forgotten locker their combination should see security. Faculty members will be available for students needing 1 on 1 assistance.
Before and after school times are available listed below:
In-Person students: May 17 and May 18
- During PE, Band and Choir classes
- 8:00 - 8:40 am or 3:05 - 3:30 pm
Remote students: May 14
