Excessive Heat Warning August 25, 2024
 

Mundelein High School parents and guardians:

With excessive heat forecast for the next couple of days, Mundelein High School is taking precautions to keep our students safe and comfortable.

These proactive steps include:

• Limiting outdoor activities for physical education classes, athletics and any after-school activities as needed.
• Ensuring bus windows are open to maximize airflow and ventilation.
• Monitoring students and staff for heat-related symptoms and illnesses, in addition being mindful of those with medical conditions.
• Encouraging both staff and students to stay well-hydrated.

As always, our priority is the safety of our students and staff during this period of extreme weather.
