Mundelein High School will celebrate Homecoming Week beginning Monday, Sept. 16 and culminating with the Sept. 20 Football game against Waukegan High School and the Homecoming Dance Sept. 21. A number of activities will take place throughout the week.
The week-long celebration will include dress-up days: Monday, Dress Your Best; Tuesday, Dancing Through the Decades (each class will have a different decade); Wednesday, Sports Day; Thursday, PJ Day and Friday, Mustang Spirit Day.
Other activities include Senior Girls Night on Wednesday from 8 p.m. to midnight preceded by Powder Puff football games at 6 p.m.
The Homecoming Assembly will begin on Friday at 1 p.m. and will include the crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King followed by the Homecoming Parade at 3:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Sept. 21, a formal tour of the facilities will be offered at 10 a.m. and later, five MHS graduates will be honored at the Distinguished Alumni Awards and Luncheon to be held at the District Office at noon. Homecoming will conclude with the dance from 7 to 10 p.m.
