The Village of Mundelein, Mundelein Police Department and several Mundelein School Districts will host an Information Night on Monday, Dec. 5, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Washington School, 122 S. Garfield Ave. Local legislators, immigration attorneys, and representatives from the Mexican Consulate will address public policy and immigration concerns which may help school district parents make informed decisions. A free babysitting service will be offered at the school so that parents may attend the event.
District 75 Superintendent Andy Henrikson said, “We hope that the December 5 meeting will provide parents real information with which they can make decisions concerning their children and their family’s futures.”
Mundelein High School District 120 Superintendent Kevin Myers said, “We are looking forward to healthy dialog with our residents and hope to help share information and resources with them,” he said.
The event is free of charge.
