The Mundelein High School Bands will present a concert Thursday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Mundelein High School Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature the Mundelein High School Honors Wind Ensemble and Honors Symphonic Winds. Selections to be performed include Variations on a Korean Folk Song by John Barnes Chance, Illumination by David Maslanka, Morning Alleluias for the Winter Solstice by Ron Nelson, Sun Dance by Frank Ticheli, Folk Dances by Dimitri Shostakovich, The Washington Post March by John Philip Sousa, Sleep by Eric Whitacre, and Lux Arumque by Eric Whitacre.

Jerald Shelato and Andrew Sturgeon direct the instrumental music program at MHS.
