Mundelein High School bands will host a free evening concert Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. in the MHS main gym. In addition to performances by the MHS Wind Ensemble and MHS Concert Band, middle schools that send students to MHS for high school will also perform.

The eighth grade musicians will also combine to form an “All-Star” band for the performance.

Jerald Shelato and Andy Sturgeon direct the MHS instrumental music program. Band directors from the middle schools include Moulee Gupta, Carl Sandburg Middle School; Brent Burger, Fremont Middle School; Patrick Cantagallo, Hawthorn Middle School North; Terri Plohr, Hawthorn Middle School South; Jessica Rosales, West Oak Middle School; and Madonna Swenson, Frassati Catholic Academy.
