Mundelein High School officials are inviting area veterans to take part in a solemn Veterans’ Day assembly to take place on Friday, November 9 at 9 a.m. [the actual Veterans’ Day falls on a Sunday this year] at Mundelein High School. Last year the assembly drew more than 80 veterans to take part in the ceremony and to be honored. The registration deadline is Friday, November 2.

Participating veterans should arrive at the MHS District Office building, just west of the high school, between 7:45 and 8 a.m. They will be bussed to the high school in time to be escorted by a drumline to the main gym for the ceremony. Once the event has concluded all veterans will be honored at a brunch from 10 to 11 a.m. in the District Office building.
