The End of the World (With Prom to Follow) is the story of high school students from Great Falls, Montana, who wake one morning to find a Wall of Light encircling their town, and everyone but the student body has vanished. Additionally, the light is moving inward and their town is steadily disappearing. In the face of this mystery, the students band together…and splinter apart. This exciting drama/comedy explores morality, friendship, and the survival of ethics when survival itself is at stake.
“I am very excited to be directing this years New Faces show,” said Jeff Harding. “This show provides a great opportunity for the younger performers in our school to get a positive experience in the theatre. It is such a thrill on my part to get the chance to work with these young performers and help them to hone their skills as they prepare for future roles in our mainstage performances.” Harding continued, “In past years we produced comedies for our New Faces show. While The End of the World… has some lighter moments, the overall subject matter is of a serious nature.”
