Beginning Monday, January 28, all exterior doors at the high school campus will be locked after dismissal and entry for all after school activities will only be through the main entrance, Door ONE (1). The lower level parking lot near the stadium should become the secondary parking area for after hour activities.

"We will be improving the signage on the entrances and doors," said Cathy Schmidt, head of MHS security. "With these new measures, we are trying to ensure the safety of all our students and guests without losing the culture of a warm and welcoming school.," she said.

Schmidt is asking for patience as everyone becomes acquainted with this new system and that "we have your child's best interests at heart."
