    Classic 1930's Comedy Opens Mundelein Theatre Season

    ​“The Philadelphia Story” was a wildly successful film in 1940. It was also made into a popular movie musical in 1956 (High Society). But this classic comedy began its life on the Broadway stage in 1948, and will be coming to the Mundelein Theatre stage this fall. Performances will be held on Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 17, 18, and 19 at 7:30 p.m. There is also a performance on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3:45 p.m.

    MHS to host referendum building tour Oct. 10

    Mundelein High School will host a third building tour on Thursday, Oct. 10 to inform the community about its upcoming referendum. The event will begin at 7 p.m. at Mundelein High School, 1350 W. Hawley Street. The $149.5 million referendum would fund a plan designed to replace aging infrastructure, upgrade instructional spaces, enhance career and technical education spaces, make health, safety and security improvements, and address overcrowding issues.
