Mustangs to play in Chipotle Clash of Champions

Mundelein High School’s varsity boys basketball team will compete in the Chipotle Clash of Champions to be held Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13. The Mustangs were on an Adaptive Pause earlier but the Lake County Health Department has approved lifting the pause and the Mustangs are ready to compete. The Illinois High School Art Exhibition (IHSAE) will host a virtual art exhibition Wednesday, April 7 through Sunday, April 11, where student artists may showcase their work and vie for top recognition awards of $60,000,000. Senior earns full ride scholarship to NIU

Mundelein High School senior and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) student Angelica Hernandez, has been awarded and accepted the Presidential Scholarship at Northern Illinois University (NIU). It is a full ride scholarship and she plans to study nursing. “Our AVID family is very proud of her,” said MHS AVID and English instructor Kristen Behrens. MHS to host virtual Cultural Fair

Mundelein High School will host its third annual Cultural Fair Friday, February 26 via ZOOM. Each year students present information, displays and graphics about a number of countries and their cultures. Countries being represented by students this year include Japan, Armenia, Solomon Islands, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Korea, The Philippines and Poland. Mundelein High School's annual Culture Fair gives students a chance to represent their own backgrounds and explore new identities. Alt
