NHS students collect funds during last year's first Miracle Minute which raised $1,400.
Mundelein High School’s National Honor Society [NHS] will conduct its second annual MHS Miracle Minute Friday, April 7, from 9:20 to 9:50 a.m. to fundraise for a campaign called Pennies for Patients. This organization raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. For one minute during homeroom, students will be asked to donate any spare change they have and put it in a designated jar in their homeroom. Whichever homeroom raises the most money within that minute will receive doughnuts that same day.
“Help us beat our total of $1,400 from last year!,” said McKenzie Theis, NHS president.
