Mundelein High School  brothers Jaryd [MHS Class of 2016] and Carter [MHS Class of 2018] Pacis will be spending a not-so-typical holiday season together this year. The brothers are currently members of the Marching Bands at their respective schools, the University of Michigan and the University of Florida. The two teams will be playing each other in the Peach Bowl, set for Saturday, December 29 beginning at 11 am CST at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Jaryd and Carter will be playing loud and proud as they each support their teams.

“We have a number of former students in marching bands from coast to coast such as Oregon, Boston College, TCU and more,” said Jerry Shelato who directs the MHS bands along with Andy Sturgeon. “This is a fun situation because they are brothers and their schools are matched up in one of the big bowl games,” Sturgeon added.
