MHS have implemented a new plan to assist future Mustang students and their families’ transition into our community with additional programs. And if you are having trouble finding relevant information this page is your one-stop source for all future Mustang students and families.

Our message have diversified  with video and slides an addition to traditional text. Added an easy to read format, registration information, new student events, health forms, and information about groups and activities at MHS.

Exam Placement or Retake
Incoming freshmen who would like their placements reexamined can take a confirmation/make-up exam at Mundelein High School on Saturday, April 6 at 7:45 AM. All students taking this exam must be registered in advance of the exam date.
Academics
 

Academics at Mundelein High School offers an extensive curriculum for our diverse student population. More than 400 courses are offered in more than 20 disciplines which includes: Art, Music, Bilingual Ed, Science, Business Ed, Speech, Consumer Science, Social Studies, Driver Ed, Special Ed, English, Technology, ELL Ed, Theatre, Health Wellness, Journalism, World Languages, and Math.

An addition, our state of the art facilites include:

  • Free-standing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Lab where students study cutting edge science and technology  
  • A massive Project Lead the Way (PTLW) Lab  
  • An array of state-of-the-art Computer Labs  
  • A Nanotechnology Lab (one of only a few in the United States) 

Recent graduates attend such prestigious schools as Yale, Harvard, Duke, Cornell, Boston College, University of Chicago, Stanford, UC Berkeley, the military academies and many others.

 
Student Support
 

Students will be assigned to a four-year counselor who will meet with and advise them throughout their four years of high school. The services offered:

  • SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES
 
Technology at MHS 

Chromebooks for every student approved by the District 120 Board of Education in the fall of 2013, the 1:1 (one-to-one) Computing Initiave provides every student enrolled at Mundelein High School with his/her own Chromebook for use during all four years of attendance. Seniors will have the opportunity to purchase their Chromebook at the end of their senior year. 

 


PowerSchool is a confidential and secure website where users access current academic information. Both students and parents/guardians can view class schedules, assignments, attendance information, test scores and find links to teacher email addresses.
