Qualification for Free Busing
Every student that lives within the MHS boundary and resides 1.5 miles or further from MHS automatically qualifies for busing services.
- There is no application process required.
MHS sends out bussing information (Route #, Bus Stop Locations/Times) for all eligible riders in late July/early August.
- Bus stop locations/times may differ slightly from year to year depending on several factors.
- Please contact Ms. Valerie Helms at 847-949-2200 ex. 1250 for any bus related questions.
At a distance of less than 1.5 miles from MHS where walking to a school, pick-up point, or bus stop would constitute a serious hazard due to vehicular traffic or rail crossing. Any family that believes they may fit these criteria should reach out to Ms. Valerie Helms.
