GRADUATION DAY
Graduation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the NOW Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, Hoffman Estates, IL. Seniors need to report to the NOW Arena by 2:00 pm. Students may drive on their own, however bus transportation to the NOW Arena and back to MHS will be available for any students and their families who need it. There will be no cost for bus transportation. Information regarding transportation services will be released in the spring.
Tickets and seating: Each graduate will be issued 15 tickets (wristbands) for guest seating. General seating will begin at 2:00 pm.
ELIGIBILITY
Students must meet all graduation requirements in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. Students are encouraged to check with their guidance counselors if they are uncertain of their eligibility status. Students with outstanding fee balances on their school accounts should make payment to the MHS Bookstore/Payment Center before graduation. Fee balances are printed on the bottom of all progress reports and report cards. Chromebooks must be returned. Please contact Mrs. Olson at extension 1235 with questions regarding your school account.
GRADUATION CAPS AND GOWNS
Graduation cap and gown orders begin. Seniors will have an opportunity to get measured for their gown and receive an order packet for purchase of their cap/tassel/alumni medal and gown on Tuesday, October 10th during all lunch periods. Please contact Herff-Jones at 815-756-4743 with any questions regarding ordering or payment.

SENIOR HONORS CEREMONY
ALL SENIORS and their parents/guardians are invited to attend the annual Senior Honors Ceremony on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00 pm in the MHS Auditorium. Students receiving recognition (either individually or as part of an honored group) will be notified. Following the ceremony, everyone is welcome to attend a reception in the cafeteria for refreshments.

All of the senior pickup/drop off activities scheduled for May 16, that would normally take place in the North Gym and Pool Parking Lot, have been moved to the Annex. The time has also been extended from 7:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. If students do not make it during that time frame, they can pick up from the Principal’s office after 2:00 p.m., or on Friday. Return Chromebooks and any remaining MHS property including textbooks and library books. This will be mandatory for all seniors. *December grads that plan to walk in May should attend.
