Mundelein High School will open nominations for the second annual Distinguished Alumni Awards beginning Thursday, March 1 and will remain open until Sunday, May 13.  It is not too soon to begin thinking about nominating an MHS alum for the award.

Anyone may nominate an MHS graduate and graduates may also nominate themselves. Deceased alumni may also be nominated. The criteria for nominations include: Nominees must have graduated from MHS at least 10 years prior to the induction year; Nominees must have excelled in a chosen profession, community service, civic involvement, etc. There is no one set criteria for what “excelled” includes but we stress tenets of our core values of equity, growth and collaboration. The selection committee will make the decision for induction.

A nomination form must be completed for a nominee to be considered.
