With hundreds of volunteers and help from local businesses and community groups the Mundelein Community has come together with Districts 120 and 75 and has distributed more than 17,000 boxes and bags of foods since March. This includes both food and gift cards. All of the events were coordinated by Jamie DiCarlo, MHS assistant superintendent of student services and Sol Cabachuela, MHS parent liaison. Activities include the following:
- Restaurant meal donations to families and volunteers
- School Supply Drive
- Thanksgiving Drive
- Convoy of Hope Drive
- Northern Illinois Food Bank Drive
- Meal distributions
- Go Fund Me drives – one by a student group and one by the Mundelein Education Association
- Holiday Drive (gifts, meal cards, food)
- Mundelein LUNCH
- Mundelein Strong shirt fundraiser
