Alexander Kapotas, Dominick Basso, Amber Bolke, Saumil Thakkar and Anna Grig put together some ideas for their act.
Mundelein High School’s staff will provide an evening of entertainment with its Variety Show Thursday, March 23, at 7 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium. Price of admission is $2 for all seats and donations will be accepted at the door. The funds will go to the Jerri Craven Scholarship. Ms. Craven was a long-term family and consumer science teacher who died unexpectedly in September.
According to Math Instructor Jeff Harding, organizer of the event, nearly 35 staff members will participate in the show. Acts will include karaoke singers, two staff members who will perform original songs they’ve written, a comedy skit about coaching and a theatre one-act play, a harpist, a group dance, a BIG chorus number and a special performance by members of the Board of Education.
“This is a great way to entertain our students and staff and to raise money for this good cause at the same time,” Harding said. “We encourage all area residents to come out and enjoy a fun evening at the Staff Variety Show,” he concluded.
