Mundelein High School will host a presentation over two days by Andy Duran, executive director of Linking Efforts Against Drugs (LEAD). The topic for the meetings will be Vaping Education for Students and Staff. Duran will meet with seniors and sophomores Monday, Jan. 14 and with juniors and freshmen Friday, Jan. 18. He will also be available from 10:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Jan. 18 to meet with interested staff members.

LEAD™ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to parents and other adults and their role in the promotion of healthy family relationships and the prevention of alcohol, drug use, and other risky behavior by youth.

“Our programs and events are designed to support parents and teens, build healthy relationships and find alternatives to using drugs and alcohol. As our kids get older, we stop talking to them about actions that can harm them,” Duran wrote on the LEAD™ website.
