Taylor Shanahan headed for Nationals in gymnastics
CONGRATS AND GOOD LUCK TO TAYLOR SHANAHAN
Gymnast Taylor Shanahan has qualified to compete in National Gymnastics competition later this month. Only the top seven from each region [eight regions] progress to Nationals. Shanahan was named IHSA Regional and Conference All-around Champion. At the ISU state meet she placed first on Bars and became the 2017 Level 9 Illinois State Uneven Bar Champion. She placed fourth on vault and sixth All Around. She then moved on to the USA Gymnastics Regions 5 Competition which included athletes from Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan. There, she placed fifth on bars, sixth on beam and fourth All Around. It was that finish that qualified her to move on to Nationals.
