About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.6 million students who entered the 2017 competition by taking the 2015 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test [PSAT/NMSQT].
Representing MHS among the Commended Students are Sarah Angelbeck, Anna Balla, Brendan Callas, James Corbin, Paige Eifert, Jessica Faulkner, Jisel Gomez, Kyle Guzzio, Emily Parduhn and Maya Seskiewicz.
“These young men and women have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success,” Kroll said. “We are extremely proud of their accomplishments and we are confident they will continue their dedication to education when they move on to colleges and universities.”
