Mundelein High School’s girls volleyball team will host a Breast Cancer Volleyball Match vs. Antioch High School Friday, Oct. 11 beginning at 5 p.m. in the Main Gym. Admission will be a donation of $5 for adults and $3 for children. A limited number of newly designed t-shirts are now available in the bookstore.  Cost is $10 for short sleeves and $15 for long sleeves.

Roughly 94 percent of the money raised through this event will go to the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation located at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. At MHS, this annual event has raised more than $36,000. The night of the game will include raffle baskets and a 50/50 raffle.

Area residents are also invited to make straight donations to the cause at the MHS Bookstore. Checks should be made out to Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation.

George Dressen is the head varsity girls’ volleyball coach at MHS.
